The Conservative Government have committed to delivering nearly 1,000 new zero emission buses across twelve areas in the country – through £200 million of new funding.
During Prime Minister’s Questions today, Leigh MP James Grundy welcomed the Government’s funding allocation to progress plans to reopen Golborne Station, and also asked for the Prime Minister’s support for his bid to reopen Kenyon Junction railway station.
